Leave for an unforgettable 12-hour adventure, between majestic lakes and picturesque canals, discovering a unique natural and historical landscape.

Departing from Portalban, navigation begins on Lake Neuchâtel before taking the peaceful canals that lead to Solothurn.

Throughout this 120 km route, including 90 km of canals, you cross the Nidau lock, a fascinating moment that marks the entry into another dimension of navigation. A possible stop at Altreu invites you to observe the famous stork nests, if the visitor pontoon is free – a rare spectacle not to be missed!

The navigation continues on the Aare river to the entrance of Solothurn, charming town with medieval streets, before taking the way back to Portalban, where you will arrive in the evening.

You bring your picnic and drinks for lunch in the middle of nature, on the boat or at the port depending on available space.
A barbecue is also available.

To marine knots and handling the helm: a fun activity where each child leaves with a surprise gift.
